Open the Products section in Alpaca. Click Add tags and then enter your tag. For this example, we are using a tag titled preorder

For pickup schedules, go to Settings > Pickup, and then click “edit” on the pickup schedules you want to restrict. In the product tags section, add the tag that you created in the previous step and then make sure the “Tagging mode” is set to Exclusive.
For delivery schedules, do the same thing. Go to Settings > Delivery, and then click “edit” on the delivery rates you want to restrict. In the product tags section, add the tag that you created in the previous step and then make sure the “Tagging mode” is set to Exclusive.
Now, any product tagged with preorder
won’t be available for my default pickup and delivery schedules. Next, create new pickup/delivery schedules that these products will be eligible for.
Now you’ll want to create new schedules that preorder
products will be available for. To do that, create a new pickup schedule or delivery rate as you normally would. In the product tags section, add the tag that you created in the first step and then make sure the “Tagging mode” is set to Inclusive.
Only show the pickup or delivery rate the customer already selected
