Restrict pickup/delivery dates for specific products

Tag your products

Open the Products section in Alpaca. Click Add tags and then enter your tag. For this example, we are using a tag titled preorder. Tag your products

Disable this tag from your regular pickup/delivery schedules

For pickup schedules, go to Settings > Pickup, and then click “edit” on the pickup schedules you want to restrict. In the product tags section, add the tag that you created in the previous step and then make sure the “Tagging mode” is set to Exclusive. Set tagging mode to exclusive

For delivery schedules, do the same thing. Go to Settings > Delivery, and then click “edit” on the delivery rates you want to restrict. In the product tags section, add the tag that you created in the previous step and then make sure the “Tagging mode” is set to Exclusive.

Now, any product tagged with preorder won’t be available for my default pickup and delivery schedules. Next, create new pickup/delivery schedules that these products will be eligible for.

Create new pickup/delivery schedules

Now you’ll want to create new schedules that preorder products will be available for. To do that, create a new pickup schedule or delivery rate as you normally would. In the product tags section, add the tag that you created in the first step and then make sure the “Tagging mode” is set to Inclusive.
