Alpaca lets you specify how much time you need to prepare for pickup and delivery orders. To do this, navigate to Alpaca’s Settings area, and then either select Pickup or Delivery from the tabs at the top, depending on what you need to change. In the Pickup times (or Delivery times) section, find the schedule you want to set advance notice for and then click Edit.
In the Timeslots section, you can specify when timeslots start. In this example, we’ve set timeslots to start 12 hours after order. This means that customers won’t be able to select a pickup or delivery time within the next 12 hours. You can set this value to whatever makes sense for your business.
You can also use the Timeslots end field to restrict how far into the future customers can schedule pickups or deliveries. For example, if you only want customers to order 7 days into the future, you would set this option to 7 days.
